What are the prices for the Santa Afternoon Tea Trip?

  • Monday – Friday – Adult: €48 and Child: €42
  • Saturday & Sunday – Adult: €50 and Child: €45

What does this include?

The price includes a full afternoon tea for each person on board our lovingly restored 1960s double decker bus. The afternoon tea consists of freshly made sandwiches, a scone with jam, cream and butter and a selection of desserts including mince pies! There is a selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolate and juices for everyone. There will be Christmas crackers on each table. Elves will be on board to keep everyone entertained. Each family will get the chance to go downstairs and visit Santa in his very own Santa Carriage that we have built on board. Each child will receive a present. There will be activities on board and at the end each person gets to keep their very own reusable souvenir keep cup!

When does it start?

The experience launches on December 3rd. We will be running right up until December 23rd. 

How do I book? 

Booking is now open over on our website www.vintageteatrips.ie or you can call 01 255 1777 10am – 2pm Mon – Fri and we can book you in over the phone. 

Is it suitable for all ages?

Yes, however, if you are coming on with a child under 3 please contact us to book in. Email [email protected] or call 01 255 1777.

Where is the pick up?

The pick up is 4-6 Essex St East, Temple Bar, Dublin 2. Just in front of Dollard and Co and Robertas.

I’d like to book the bus exclusively for my family and friends?

Yes, of course. Just call 01 255 1777 or email [email protected]. We can host birthday parties, family get togethers etc on board our Santa Afternoon Tea Trip.

Can I sit upstairs?

Yes, all seats for this experience will be on the upper deck. The lower deck is our Santa Carriage which each family will also get to visit during their time on board.

Do the children receive a present from Santa?

Yes, each child will receive their very own present from Santa. 

Can I give Santa information about my child?

Yes, at your time of booking we ask for info on any children in your booking. This is so Santa can chat to them and know of any of their interests, hobbies and also what they may need to work on before Christmas.

What is the cancellation policy?

Individual guest bookings made on or after 13th June 2020 will not be refunded but a free date change can be applied with 48 hours notice.

Group bookings made before of after 13th June 2020 must contact [email protected]

Individual bookings are 1-6 guests in bookings. Group bookings are 7+ guests.

Time change on the same day – Free of charge as long as it is confirmed with the team on board and can be accommodated.

What does the afternoon tea consist of?

Our festive afternoon tea consists of freshly made sandwiches including a brioche bun, a scone with jam, clotted cream and butter and a selection of desserts including a mince pie. Like our regular Dublin Afternoon Tea Trip you can avail of a traditional, vegetarian, vegan or gluten free. Just choose which you’d like at your time of booking. 

What are the drink choices for children?

We have hot chocolate, orange juice and apple juice. 

Is there music on board?

Yes, we will be playing all your favourite Christmas songs. The elves will also be hosting sing-a-longs!
