Assistant Customer Experience Manager / Lead Host

Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic, highly organized, and detail-oriented Assistant Customer Experience Manager to lead tours and aid in the day-to-day logistical and operational aspects of our tours.

In this role, you will assist our Customer Experience Manager with our tours, team and schedules.

Your mission is simple: ensure our teams are supported, our schedules run like clockwork, and every single tour delivers a seamless, five-star experience from the moment guests arrive to the final wave goodbye.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Tour & Front-of-House Operations

  • Conduct tours along with the daily rhythm of our schedule
  • Manage the physical front-of-house presence, welcoming guests, coordinating boarding procedures, and setting an upbeat, warm tone for the day.
  • Act as the real-time problem solver for on-the-road logistics

2. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead, supervise and support daily shift teams on board all buses
  • Foster a collaborative, positive team culture focused on maintaining our premium standards.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, briefings, and ongoing operational training to ensure everyone knows their role inside and out.

3. Partnership with Customer Experience

  • Collaborate daily with the Customer Experience Manager to review guest feedback, and bespoke bookings.
  • Work together to troubleshoot operational bottlenecks that impact the guest journey, constantly refining processes to uphold our five-star standard.

4. Inventory & Quality Control

  • Monitor and manage operational inventory (supplies, retail items, tour assets).
  • Maintain strict food safety, health and safety, and vehicle presentation standards across all daily assets.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

  • Experience: 2+ years of supervisory or assistant management experience in tourism or hospitality.
  • The Logician’s Mind: Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage moving parts, and tight timelines simultaneously.
  • People Person: A natural leader who communicates warmly and effectively with both their team and excited holidaymakers.
  • Cool Under Pressure: High emotional intelligence and a calm approach to problem-solving when real-time hitches happen on the ground.
  • Flexibility: Tourism is a dynamic industry; availability to work weekends and bank holidays is essential to follow the rhythm of our tours.

On Board Host / Guide

We require an experienced host and guide on board our bus, 3 up to 5 days per week, who has an interest in history, is comfortable speaking to and dealing with the public and has a positive outgoing personality.

We operate seven days a week, typically 10.30am – 6.00pm, so candidates must be flexible.

This is a physical but rewarding position so if you have endless energy and a love of tea and chats you may be the right person for this role and we look forward to receiving your CV.

The successful candidates must:

  • Have experience working in the hospitality industry
  • Comfortable serving guests and plating up food
  • Comfortable cleaning tables, trays and plates after each tour
  • An interest/knowledge in Irish local history & an ability to retain facts.
  • Have good presentation skills
  • Quick thinker with a solution finding mindset
  • Be enthusiastic and friendly with great communication skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with people
  • Be able to work with a team
  • Be available to work Day Time Hours (typically 10.00am – 6.00pm with some flexibility required)
  • Able to commute to Dublin.
  • Have time management skills.
  • Fluent English
  • Additional languages are an advantage but not a necessity.
  • A qualification in Travel & Tourism is an advantage but not a necessity.
  • Experience within a “Tour” environment is also an advantage.

Kitchen Assistant – Part Time

We are looking to hire a dedicated and reliable kitchen assistant to be responsible for ingredient preparation, baking, order assembly for all product lines as well as performing washing and cleaning duties required in the kitchen.

To be successful as a kitchen assistant, you should exercise exceptional time management and ensure that all duties are completed in a timely manner.

Ultimately, an outstanding Kitchen Assistant should be able to comply with all food health and safety regulations.

Kitchen Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Properly cleaning and sanitising all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene.
  • Washing and appropriately storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes.
  • Assisting with the preparation of order ingredients, which includes washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables, poultry, and meat.
  • Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floors as well as wiping down kitchen walls.
  • Assisting with the unloading of delivered food supplies.
  • Organising and correctly storing food supplies.
  • Promptly transferring meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen as per instructions.
  • Making scones, sandwiches and preparing hot beverages.

Kitchen Assistant Requirements:

  • Shifts Range from 6am – 11am, 7am – 11am, 9am – 1:30pm
  • Willing to work outside of these times if required
  • Have own transport – Unit is 20 min walk from Bus Stop
  • Proven experience assisting in kitchens.
  • Adhering to HACCP protocols
  • Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.

Part-time hours: 10 hours per week

Expected start date: ASAO
