At the moment we have paused our Afternoon Tea delivery. We offer collection from our unit in Blanchardstown and can cater and deliver to large parties.

Afternoon tea is a much-cherished tea-related ritual from the early 1840’s. It was a mini meal to fill the gap between lunch and dinner and was composed of scones with clotted cream and jam, delicately cut sandwiches, sweets and delicious cakes.

VIP Top Deck Seats are the very front 4 seats on the upper deck. Adult seats are the remaining seats on both upper or lower deck. Seats are sold on a first booked, first served basis starting on the upper deck.

If you have a voucher with a 20 character code please add this into the Apply Gift Card box. If you have a shorter code please put in Add Promo or Discount Code. You can also call us on 01 255 1777 and we can process the booking over the phone.

Yes, we have traditional, gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian options. Any allergies, specific dietary requirements or changes to requirements must be confirmed over email or by phone with the VTT team 72 hours in advance of your tour. (If the allergy can’t be facilitated the VVT team will be in contact). For a list of allergens please email [email protected]

Yes, everything is pasteurised and no seafood or raw eggs are used in any of our afternoon teas.

As our buses date from the 1960s we have no storage for any luggage on the bus.

Our tour takes between 70 & 80 minutes (depending on the day and the traffic).

Our tour is not a historical tour but an Afternoon Tea Experience, with stories of the city shared over your Afternoon Tea Spread as we drive past our much loved historical sights during the non-stop tour. We do have complimentary history booklets on-board providing an overview of the sights passed.

Our trip begins in Temple Bar and takes in Guinnesses, Phoenix Park, O’Connell Street, Georgian Dublin, Christchurch Cathedral and more. However, we constantly monitor traffic, road works and road closures which may affect the route taken on the day.

Guests do not have to have a printed ticket but must be able to view details on their phone.

The buses are from the 1960s and as a result are unfortunately not wheelchair friendly.

There are no bathroom facilities onboard.

Pauline & Jean have a maximum capacity of 38 in total per bus – 12 lower saloon / 26 upper saloon and Kitty has a max capacity of 36 in total 12 lower saloon / 24 upper saloon
