Hannah in Dublin: Happy National Irish Coffee Day!
This Sunday was National Irish Coffee Day! That’s right, we were just as surprised as you are that this brilliant holiday exists, but we were willing to be boots on the ground at Kennedy’s pub in Dublin, with Tullamore Dew Whiskey.

The day started off with watching the Irish coffees being made, and enjoying the beautiful Kenney’s Pub. And we all agreed, there is nothing as cosy as an Irish pub on a cold January day with a hot, fresh Irish coffee in your hands!
Here we have Hannah and Orlaith enjoying a brew with Oscar Wilde himself outside Kennedy’s pub!
Folks wandered in to enjoy some live music, only to be met with the rich aroma of coffee, whiskey and sandwiches. They stayed, of course, for the mascot of Tullamore Dew, the Irish Wolfhound.
That’s right, model and good boy, Oisín, made his appearance to remind us that the national dog of Ireland is huge, friendly, and reflects the ancient past of Ireland. The wolfhound is the symbol of the Tullamore Dew brand of whiskey, an Irish symbol for an Irish staple.
After a few words about Irish Coffee being created by accident on a rainy night in Foynes, a small town in the West, we listened to the music and chatted with other attractions in Dublin.
Do you think they can make us an Irish coffee in our cup?
Huge thank you to Diana at Mahon Hospitality Group for inviting us to this incredible event!
