Winter Lights

This Christmas take in the magic of Dublin City Council’s Winter Lights installation from a top our vintage bus. That’s not all. While on board indulge in a festive afternoon tea spread, listen to carols, play games with our elves and of course visit Santa Claus.

We’ll be taking in not only the twinkling lights on trees and streets but also the installations at the Millennium Bridge, GPO, Hugh Lane Gallery, Custom House, CHQ Arch, Samuel Beckett Bridge, Trinity College and City Hall.

While the majority of the installations are Christmas related the Samuel Beckett Bridge features an installation called“Keep on Moving” by Richmond Barracks over 55s Movement Group. It’s a bespoke four-minute dance around the themes of strength, resilience and fun, featuring several styles of dance and the groups’ very own haka. Also, at City Hall there is ‘Home Truths Stories from The Croft and Hollybrook Lodge’ care homes. It’s a four-minute storied animation of reminiscences from residents of their childhoods, their life experiences, the challenges they face with COVID-19, and their messages of hope.

Our evening Santa Experience trips begin at 5.45pm and last 60-70 mins.
